Here’s the outcome of my earlier plan for a fixed-position floating sailboat
Unfortunately, the concrete base I poured isn’t large enough to be stable on the uneven bottom of the pond. So when the Kansas wind came up (as it often does) over she went. And since the brass rod that is both the “mast” and what held the boat in place is so long, it wound up on the bottom of the pond, almost under the bridge.
So it’s back to the drawing board–possibly a larger base will solve the problem…
