I am planning to set up a pile of logs outside the sawmill, waiting to be sawn. I’ll build some kind of log-holding cradle out of acrylic (hurrah for laser cutters!) and set this up outside.

I’m also planning to cut a few in half to represent the stumps in a logged-out area. I can put metal pins in the ground and then just put these hollow log ends over them. It would also be nice to buy/build a wagon and team (or two) that I could put out in the logging scene to show logs going from the cleared area to the mill. We’ll have to see about that.
